Camp Overview
The Arcadia Ice Skating Day Camp has been operating since 2004. The camp is open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade and runs daily from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Arcadia Ice will be operating the day camp the following weeks:
- May 28th – June 1st
- June 4th – June 8th
- June 11th – June 15th
- June 18th – June 22nd
- June 25th – June 29th
- July 2nd – July 6th
- July 9th – July 13th
- July 16th – July 20th
- July 23rd – July 27th
- July 30th – August 3rd
Program Costs
The cost for a full week of camp (five days) is $165.00 per participant with pre registration. Without pre registration the cost is $195.00 per participant.
Before-care is available at an additional cost of $50.00 per week with drop-off beginning at 7:00am. After-care is available at an additional cost of $50.00 per week with pick-up time of 6:00pm. For one day of before or after care, the cost is $10.
Registration
Registration can be completed (1) by faxing the registration form with payment information to 602-957-9968; (2) by mailing the registration form with payment information to 3853 E. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018; (3) or in person at the arena office.
Drop-Off
Each morning the camper drop-off is between 8:30-8:50am in the Front Office. If you have selected the before care option, you may bring your child at 7:00am. If you are going to be late or absent, please call the office, it is greatly appreciated. There will be a sign-in sheet in the front office, and whoever brings the camper(s) will need to sign them in and also let us know who will be picking them up in the after-noon. All camper forms and full payment need to be turned prior to the first day of the camp program.
Pick-up
All campers must be picked up by 4:30pm unless the camper is enrolled in the after care program. After care enrollees must be picked up by 6:00pm.
Lunch
Lunches for one week of camp are $ 15.00 extra. A morning and afternoon snack however is included with the basic camp fee. Camper(s) will have the choice of two meal options daily. If your camper has allergies, special dietary needs, or is a picky eater, please inform us and/or send her/him with additional lunch and snack options.
Staff
All day camp counselors have been carefully selected for their athletic back-ground, education, and experience working with children. In addition, all counselors are familiar with first aid techniques. To maximize the skating experience, all skating lessons will be taught by USFSA (United States Figure Skating Association) Basic Skills Instructors following the USFSA specific guidelines.
