Gayle
grew up in Southern California where she began hockey at the age of
4. She trained with the Los Angeles King’s power skating instructor
for 10 years. She then moved to Arizona where she played Tier II
hockey until she moved to Connecticut to play at a Division I Prep
School. She then received the Ashmead Cup as a Sophomore. In 2000
Gayle pursued her hockey career at Providence College where she
received the Division I ECAC Rookie of the Week in November.
In May
2004 Gayle became an ASU graduate with a degree in Communications.

Gayle’s hockey career also includes the following:

• USA Hockey Certified
• TURCOTTE Instructor
• HNIB MVP
• All American
• USA Hockey National Camp attendee: Lake Placid, NY, 1996-1999
• Coach for USA Hockey National Development Camp: Peoria, AZ, 2003;
Salt Lake City, UT, 2004.
• Olympic Candidate
• Over 16 years of hockey experience.
