Kristina began figure skating when she was four
years old at a local mall in Tampa, Florida. She leveled through to
Freestyle 9 in the Ice Skating Institute of America while competing in
competitions throughout Florida. Soon she began training at the Tampa
Bay Skating Academy in Oldsmar,
Florida where she trained with World & Olympic Coaches including David &
Rita Lowery. She trained, tested, and competed in Freestyle, Moves in
the Field, and Pairs through the United States Figure Skating
Association. She participated in the Florida State Games annually as
well as the Southwest Regional Championships. She traveled the United
States and participated in many competitions
every year. She was Florida State Champion two years in a row. She
competed in the Junior Olympics in Pairs with her partner, Brandon
Larcom. Kristina also trained at the J.P. Igloo Figure Skating Training
Facility in Ellenton, Florida with a team of World & Olympic coaches
including Kerry Leitch. Kristina has successfully passed her Senior
Moves in the Field test, Junior Freestyle test, and Intermediate Pairs
test. She trained figure skaters at the Tampa Bay Figure Skating Academy
while attending college in Tampa, Florida. Kristina is currently
attending Estrella Mountain Community College majoring in Kinesiology &
Sports Medicine. She is also pursuing a Personal Training Certification.
USFS tests:
• USFSA Senior Moves in the Field passed.
• USFSA Junior Freestyle passed.
• USFSA Intermediate Pairs passed.
